Koala Woman Says
Before there were tennis courts in Kooyong there was good koala habitat. The area was settled in the 1860s and urbanised in the 1920s. The only remaining habitat is along the Yarra River, and the only record of Koalas is an iNaturalist record from 2022. The nearest sighting is 7 km upstream in Templestowe in the same year, possibly the same Koala
